 Error code A3
The document scanning position sensor does not detect the leading edge of the document
although the document has been fed for the specified distance.
 Error code A4
The control panel cover sensor detected that the control panel cover was open.
Document Jam
Clear the scanner jam, then press the Stop Key.
<User Check>
• Check that the document is not jammed in the ADF. If jammed, remove it.

Reconnect the document scanning position
sensor harness.

Document scanning position

Replace the panel PCB ASSY.
4 Main PCB failure Replace the main PCB ASSY.
Cover is Open
Close the Control Panel Cover.

• Close the control panel cover.
