To remove the developer roller, insert a small slotted screwdriver
into the small opening as shown in Figure 2.10 and gently pry
the white developer roller stabilizer’s locking tab loose.
On the contact side end plate, remove the screw (Figure 2.8).
Remove the developer roller from the cartridge (Figure 2.11)
Remove the contact side end plate (Figure 2.9).
Using a small slotted screwdriver, remove the contact side
developer roller support bearing and spring (Figure 2.7).

DISASSEMBLING THE CARTRIDGE
Note: Insert a small slotted screwdriver under the contact
side support bearing, then lift up and out to
free the developer roller support bearing from
the cartridge. Remove the spring.
Note: Clean the developer roller with a lint-free cleaning cloth
saturated in 91-99% isopropyl alcohol. Then
use another lint-free cloth with de-ionized water
and blow dry with dry, filtered, ionized compressed air.
