2.2.8 Fitting the boiler casing
Put the casing in place (fig. 42, item 1).
Close (fig. 42, item 2) and lock the clasps (fig. 42,
item 3) with the radiator key (fig. 42, item 4).
Turn in the screw (fig. 42, item 5).
Close the cover of the control panel (fig. 42, item 6).
Do not carry the casing by the clasps !
2.2.9 Handing over
After completing the installation and commissioning of
the system the installer should hand over to the
householder by the following actions:
Fill out the form at the end of this manual. This con-
firms that the system is properly set up, installed and
commissioned and that it has been handed over in
good working order.
Hand the User Manual to the householder and ex-
plain his/her responsibilities under the relevant na-
tional regulations.
Explain and demonstrate the lighting and shutting
down procedures.
The operation of the boiler and the use and adjust-
ment of all system controls should be fully explained
to the householder, to ensure the greatest possible
fuel economy consistent with the household require-
ments of heating. Advise the User of the precautions
necessary to prevent damage to the system and to
the building in the event of the system remaining in-
operative during frosty conditions.
Explain the function and the use of the boiler heating
controls.
Explain the function of the boiler fault mode. Empha-
sise that if a fault is indicated, the boiler should be
turned off and a registered local heating installer con-
sulted.
Explain and demonstrate the function of time and
temperature controls, radiator valves etc., for the
economic use of the system.
