WARM TIP
When the ESP becomes faulty, the tire pressure monitoring system display
may also lose its function.
System malfunction may occur after antiskid chains are installed.
System resetting
To reset the tire pressure monitoring system, the driver should operate
according to the procedure below:
System resetting method I: (applicable to vehicle with reset button
designed on multimedia system)
On the multimedia system, select "Vehicle Information" and then
select "Reset" under "Tire pressure". If you are sure to reset, select
"OK"; otherwise, select "Cancel" (if any).
On the multimedia system, select "Settings" - "Vehicle" -
"Maintenance" - "Tire Pressure Monitoring System" in turn. If you are
sure to reset, select "OK"; otherwise, select "Cancel" (if any).
System resetting method II: (applicable to vehicle with reset button
designed on instrument)
Press the " " button on the steering wheel, press the and
buttons on to select "Vehicle Settings" , press the middle scroll
wheel, select the option "Reset tire pressure", press the middle scroll
wheel, and select "OK" to reset the tire pressure; otherwise, select
"Cancel".
WARM TIP
When the vehicle has insufficient tire pressure alarm, if the user resets the
tire pressure monitoring system without ensuring that the tire pressure is
normal, the tire pressure monitoring system will be manually cleared; this
will cause the tire pressure monitoring system to fail or cause the actual tire
pressure to be too low when the next alarm is given. Therefore, make sure
that the tires and tire pressure are normal before resetting.
In case of insufficient tire pressure alarm, perform the reset operation 1
min after pulling over the vehicle or in the next ignition cycle.
Reset the tire pressure monitoring system after any of the following operations
is performed on the vehicle:
