1. PACKING
1.1. PACKING
The packing is a recyclable cardboard box to RESY standards with recyclable inserts in expanded EPS, and
a wooden pallet. All the packing materials can be used again or disposed as solid urban waste according
to current regulations.
After removing the packing, check the good state of the product.
ATTENTION we recommend to handling with suitable means, paying attention to current safety
regulations. Do not turn the packing upside down and take particular care of ceramic parts.
2. FLUE
2.1. FOREWORD
This chapter on the flue has been written in co-operation with Assocosma (www.assocosma.org) and
based on European standards (EN18891 EN13384 EN1856 EN1443). It gives instructions for fitting
the flue in a workmanlike manner but it absolutely cannot replace the current regulations that every
professional fitter must know and apply. Check with your local authority for any restrictions regarding
the air inlet, fumes extraction system, flue and chimney.
The Company declines all responsibility for bad operation of the stove if it is caused by a wrong
dimensioned flue that does not respect current regulations.
2.2. FLUE
The flue or chimney is very important for proper operation of a solid-fuel convector heater as modern
heating equipment has greater output with cooler fumes and therefore less draught. For this reason it is
essential for the flue to be manufactured well and kept perfectly efficient. Use a single flue
(see Picture 3) with insulated stainless steel pipes (A) or fitted to an existing flue (B). Both solutions must
have an inspection cover (AT) and/or flap (AP).
Connection of several stoves of any type to the same flue is not allowed.
