4.5. VENTILATION
The stove is ventilated. The air moved by the fan keeps the stove at a lower temperature to avoid
excessive strain on the material of which it is made. If the fan breaks it must be replaced (Picture 16,
page 87, Detail 8 Room Fan).
Picture 11
Do not close the hot air vents with any object,
otherwise the stove will overheat.
The stove is not suitable for cooking.
5. USE
5.1. FOREWORD
For the best performance at the lowest consumption, follow the instructions below.
The pellets ignite very easily if the stove is properly installed and the flue efficient. Proceed as follows:
empty and clean the burn pot, check that there are enough pellets in the hopper. If it is the first time
igniting, wait auger filled up with pellets: it causes at least two ineffective ignition attempts because of
lack of pellets in the pot. Check the door is closed properly.
ATTENTION: do not use inflammable liquids for ignition (alcohol, benzene, oil, petroleum, etc.).
Important: at first ignition it is better to keep the fire at minimum for at least 24 hours so that the
material used for the boiler and burn pot can adjust to internal strain, thereby avoiding damage to them.
During the first hours of use, residual grease from production and paint may produce smells and fumes,
so it is advisable to air the room as they may be harmful to the health of people and animals.
ATTENTION: the programming values from 1 to 5 are set by the manufacturer and can only be altered
by an authorized fitter.
