this product against defects in materi a l s
and wo rkmanship for a period of one (1)
year from the date of ori ginal consumer
p u rchase in the U. S . If a defect exists dur-
ing the wa rranty peri o d , CII at its option
will either repair (using new or re m a nu-
fa c t u red parts) or replace (with a new or
re m a nu fa c t u red unit) the product at no
ch a r ge .
The warranty will not apply to the
p roduct if it has been damaged by
misuse, alteration, accident, impro p e r
handling or operation, or if unautho-
rized repairs are attempted or made.
Some examples of damages not cov-
e red by warranty include, but are not
limited to, battery leakage, bending,
or visible cracking of the LCD which
a r e presumed to be damages re s u l t i n g
f r om misuse or abuse.
To obtain wa rranty service in the U. S . ,
ship the product postage paid to the CII

b a c k page of the User’s Guide. Please pro-
vide an explanation of the serv i c e
