9A! Route fibers (or copper Ethernet cables) to the E7-20 shelf
!! For cards in slots 1-10, route connections from the left side
!! For cards in slots 11-20, route connections from the right side.
!! For SCP cards in slots A and B, route connections from either the right or left side.
*A! Remove the caps or plugs from the fiber connector ends, if present.
:A! Connect fibers to transceiver modules on the E7-20 line card.
<A! Repeat the steps above to connect additional fiber links, as required.
EA! Neatly dress and secure all fibers/cables per local practice.
Note: To avoid pinching or interference with the equipment, neatly coil or bundle any
slack fiber and dress it appropriately. Fibers attached to pluggable transceiver modules on
the front of the E7-20 unit must be appropriately dressed and secured with strain relief to
avoid exceeding the manufacturer's bend radius standards.
