What to do if the Calpeda Unimat-E is not starting?
    • X
      xsolomonAug 16, 2025
If the Calpeda Water Pump isn't starting, first, make sure the green light on the front of the unit is on, and check the fuse. Then, push the float valve to check if water is filling the tank, and check the water level and supply. Verify the unit is working correctly and check the set system pressure. Use the pump test function to force the pumps to run and clear any errors. If the system set pressure is higher than the pump's capability, reduce the set pressure. Make sure you have the right unit for the system pressure needed. Remove pressure from the unit outlet and confirm the displayed pressure is 0 bar. If the sensor signal is outside parameters, an error will show, in which case the sensor should be replaced.

Why is the high pressure alarm triggered on my Calpeda Water Pump?
    • L
      Luis ButlerAug 19, 2025
The high pressure alarm on your Calpeda Water Pump may be triggered because the system pressure is too high or there's a fault with the pressure sensor. To resolve this, check the system operation. You can increase the high pressure alarm set pressure. Also, remove pressure from the unit outlet and verify the displayed pressure is 0 bar. If the sensor signal is outside of normal, an error will be displayed.

What to do if Calpeda Unimat-E Water Pump runs longer than set time?
    • P
      pacemelissaAug 22, 2025
If your Calpeda Water Pump runs longer than the set time, activating the pump run time alarm, it could be due to the pump filling the system or a leak in the system. You can activate the system fill option to suppress the alarm for 24 hours. Check the system for leakage and monitor using the system fill volume log, resetting if needed. You might also need to increase the pump run time limit.

How to fix a Calpeda Unimat-E when it won't stop?
    • C
      Colton ThompsonAug 26, 2025
If your Calpeda Water Pump won't stop, it could be because the system pressure is set too high or there is a pressure sensor fault. Reduce the set pressure if it exceeds the pump's capability and ensure you have the correct unit for the system pressure required. Remove pressure from the unit outlet to check if the displayed pressure is 0 bar. If the sensor signal is outside parameters, an error will be displayed.

What to do if my Calpeda Water Pump activity high alarm activated?
    • M
      Mary BrownAug 28, 2025
If the Activity High alarm is activated on your Calpeda Water Pump, and the pump is starting more than the set value, it could be due to the pump filling the system, a leak in the system, or the Activity High alarm number being too low. To address this, activate the system fill option to suppress the alarm for 24 hours. Check the system for leakage, monitor it using the system fill volume log, and reset if needed. Also, consider increasing the Activity High alarm value.

Why is the low pressure alarm triggered on my Calpeda Water Pump?
    • D
      Dawn DixonAug 31, 2025
The low pressure alarm on your Calpeda Water Pump can be triggered by a leak in the system, the low pressure alarm being set too high, or a pressure sensor fault. Check the system for leaks and review pump activity in the logs. Also, check for a leaking pressure relief valve. Reduce the low pressure alarm pressure and check the system pressure range during normal operation. Remove pressure from the unit outlet and verify the displayed pressure is 0 bar. If the sensor signal is outside of normal, an error will be displayed.

What to do if there is low water error in Calpeda Unimat-E?
    • W
      William RiosSep 9, 2025
If you're getting a low water error with your Calpeda Water Pump, it could be due to a loss of water supply to the unit or the water level being set too low. Depress the float valve to verify water is filling the tank, and check the water level and supply. Adjust the water level by turning the float, making sure the upper level probe is in contact with water when the fill valve is turned off. Check the water level before leaving the unit unattended.

Why is water overflowing from the warning pipe of my Calpeda Water Pump?
    • B
      Brenda PetersonSep 12, 2025
If water is overflowing from the warning pipe or weir of your Calpeda Water Pump, it's likely due to the water level being too high or the pump NRV (Non-Return Valve) leaking. Check the function of the fill valve, and replace or adjust it if needed. Isolate the unit from the system and mains water, then replace the non-return valve and holder.
