12 TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
Symptoms Error Code Probable Cause Recommended Action
No Power
Blank screen
No power to unit Check power supply / fuse.
Internal re-settable
fuse tripped
Remove mains power from the unit for 20 seconds, re-apply the power.
Pump(s) not
starting
No power to unit Ensure the green light is on the front of the unit, check fuse.
Low water Low water in tank Depress float valve to varify water is filling tank, check water level and
supply.
System pressure =
set pressure
Unit functioning correctly. Check the set system pressure.
Pump run fail Pump seized Force the pumps to run using the pump test function. Clear error.
Pump run fail System pressure set
too high
System set pressure is set higher than the pump performance
capability, reduce set pressure. Ensure you have purchased the correct
unit for the system pressure required.
Sensor error Pressure sensor fault Remove pressure from the unit outlet and verify the displayed
pressure is 0 bar. Error will be displayed if the sensor signal is outside
parameters. (Replace sensor – call Calpeda Ltd).
Pump(s) will not
stop

Adjust water level by turning float, ensure upper level probe is in
contact with water when the fill valve is turned off.
Check water level prior to leaving unattended.

Pump NRV leaking Isolate the unit from system and mains water and replace non-return
valve and holder.
