Exposure Settings – F-Stop
The F-Stop is a numerical designation indicating the size of the lens aperture (or opening). The F-
Stop setting uses a numerical designation, such as F-14. Along with Shutter Speed and ISO, it is one
of three settings that determine camera exposure.
On the Canon 40D, the F-Stop setting is displayed on the top row of the control panel.
