8. Close every Ink T ank Lock Lever , and close the Ink T ank Cover .
At this point, ink is drawn out from inside the tubes.
Important
• Do not remove the Maintenance Cartridge during this process.
When the suction is nished, T urn Power Off!! is displayed.
9. Press the Power button and turn of f the printer .
Important
• T urn of f the printer before you unplug it. It may damage the printer if you unplug it before it is of f and
transfer it in that state. If you accidentally unplug the printer , plug it in again, reinstall the Ink T anks ,
wait until the printer comes online, and follow this procedure again.
10. Disconnect the power cord and interface cable.
