II. CONTROLLING THE PICK-UP ROLLER
A. PC420/430/FC220
The pick-up roller is controlled by a spring clutch, control ring, and pick-up solenoid
(SL1).
When the pick-up solenoid goes ON, the claw moves away from the control ring,
allowing the drive from the main motor (M1) to be transmitted, causing the pick-up roller
to make a single rotation.
At the time, copy paper is picked up and butted against the registration roller,
forming an arch.
