Autofocus
may
not
work
well
in
the
following
instances
and
manual
focus
is
recom¬
mended
for
best
results.
Subject
with
very
glossy
or
shiny
surfaces
(e.g.the
exterior
of
a
car)

Scenes
which
cause
a
strong
contrast
be¬
tween
the
right
and
left
halves
of
the
screen.
Subjects
with
little
or
no
reflection
(e.g.
black
clothes,
black
hair,
water
surface)
Be
sure
not
to
cover
autofocus
window
with
your
hand,
fingers,
etc.
during
recording.
Do
not
use
focusing
ring
during
autofocus.
Aim
camera
so
that
subject
is
centred
in
viewfinder.
Notes
•The
autofocus
mechanism
focuses
subjects
located
up
to
9m
away.
|f
subject
is
located
further,
focus
is
locked
at
infinity.
When
shooting
bright
subjects
outdoors
during
the
daytime,
the
lens
aperture
is
small
so
that
accurate
focus
is
maintained
easily.
If
it
is
cloudy
or
if
you
are
shooting
dark
subjects
(night
scenes,
etc.),
use
manual
focusing.
