CONFIGURE SERIAL PORTS
Press to show the current setting. Press or
to enter the new setting. Then press to save it or to
save the current setting. Clear tare on completion of the
transaction (a negative net weight after display of a positive net weight).
no = No YES = Yes
Press to show the default setting (no). If you wish to
configure or review the serial data ports, press the
key for YES, then press to continue. If you do not
want to change or review the configuration of the serial port settings, press
for NO then press to continue. If you bypass this section, the 748 will
advance to the
PRINTER TAB SETTINGS.

keys to enter a new baud rate for the bi-directional serial
post. Then press to save it or to save the current
setting.
12 = 1200 Baud 48 = 4800 Baud
24 = 2400 Baud 96 = 9600 Baud 19 = 19.2K Baud

bi-directional serial port. Then press to save it or to
save the current setting.
0 = No Parity 1 = Odd Parity 2 = Even Parity
Press to show the current number of data bits. Press
or to enter the new number of data bits for the
bi-directional serial port. Then press to save it or to
save the current setting.
Press to show the current number of stop bits. Press
or to enter the new number of stop bits for the
bi-directional serial port. Then press to save it or to
