4. In standby mode, press and hold and buttons for 5
seconds. Two beeps will be heard with and flashing.
5. Press to confirm undergoing descaling process. To return
to the standby mode, press .
6. will start flashing when the appliance starts descaling
process. Keep your hands and face away from the hot water.
7. When all the water in the water tank is dispensed out, and
will be flashing. Remove the remaining solution from the
water tank and fill the tank with tap water to the MAX. When
the water tank is full, will go off. The appliance will resume
the descaling process.
8. When descaling is completed, the appliance will switch off
automatically.
CAUTION!
The descaling agent contains acids that can hurt skin
and eyes. Strictly follow the manufacturer’s safety
instructions on the packaging of the descaler.
To ensure the descaling process is carried out properly,
be patient during the process and wait until the
appliance switches off automatically.
Do not use vinegar or unsuitable cleaning agents for
descaling of this appliance.
EMPTY SYSTEM FUNCTION
The empty system function is recommended to use before long
periods of non-use, for frost protection and before talking the
appliance to a service center.
1. In standby mode, press and hold the and Latte Macchiato
button together for 5 seconds. will then be flashing.
Press to return to the standby mode.
2. Remove the water tank from the appliance. will light up
stably indicating that the empty system function is in process.
3. When the empty system function is completed, the appliance
will switch off automatically.
