Is LED status light on?
NOTE: The status LED display will remain
off for 1 minute whenever the MENU or
NEXT button is pressed.
Is there 115V and L1 and L2?
Is there 24V at SEC-1 and SEC-2?
Is LED status light blinking ON/OFF slowly
with a combination of short and long
flashes?
Determine status code. The fault code
LED only displays the Major (first 2 digits)
of the fault. The status code is a 2 digit
number with the first digit determined by
the number of short flashes and the
second digit by the number of long flashes.
NOTE: To see Major/Minor on 3 digit
display the door must be removed and
door switch closed.
Go to section below for the status code
that was flashed.
Is LED status light blinking rapidly without
a pause?
Is door switch closed?
Close door switch and go back to START.
Replace furnace control.
Check for correct line voltage polarity. If
units are twinned, check for proper low-
voltage (24V) transformer phasing.
To recall the 7 most recent status codes,
use the MENU button to navigate to FLT.
Once FLT is on the display, use the NEXT
button to navigate through the last 7 fault
codes in the queue, starting with the most
recently occurred fault. If there are no fault
codes, non will be displayed instead of a
code number.
Was there a previous status code? non
will be displayed instead of a code
number.
Does the control respond to W, Y (if present), and G
(24V) thermostat signals?
Is there 115V going to switch?
Replace door switch.
Replace transformer.
Is circuit breaker closed?
Close circuit breaker and go back to
START.
Run system through a heating or cooling cycle to
check operation. Status codes are erased after 72
hours. Status codes can also be manually erased from
the queue by selecting the CLr option at the end of
the status code queue.
Is 24V present at W,Y (if present) or G
thermostat terminals on the furnace control
Check room thermostat or interconnecting
cable.
Disconnect all the thermostat wires from the
furnace control.
Does the problem repeat when using a
jumper wire?
Replace furnace control.
The thermostat is not compatible with the
furnace control. Either install a ballast
resister, connect the Com24V thermostat
terminal to the thermostat, or replace the
thermostat.
