3.16 ELECTRICAL PANEL
To access the electrical panel, hatch 12 (Fig. 3.0.1) must be opened using the wrench provided.
Description of components:
C Motor overload cut-out
D Inverters for motor power supply
E Fuses
All maintenance and adjustment operations must be carried out only with the machine switched off,
with the main electrical switch set to 0 (zero), locked and with the certainty that the machine can be
serviced and adjusted only by authorized persons.
To replace fuses, proceed as follows:
- disconnect the power supply line;
- move the main switch to the 0/OFF position and lock it;
- open fuse-holders E (Fig. 3.16);
- replace the blown fuses and repeat the above operations in the reverse order.
If one of the inverters stops operating, note down the error message that appears on the display and
consult the manual.
Any inverter errors may indicate a malfunction that must not be underestimated, such as a drop in
power supply voltage, motor overheating caused by improper machine use, or insufcient sharp-
ness of tools on
end trimming and/or ush trimmer units.
To reset the inverter, turn the main switch to OFF, wait at least 30 seconds and reset it by moving it
back to ON.
If however a fuse blows frequently and must be repeatedly replaced, the assistance of a specialized
technician must be requested to resolve the causes of the problem.
N.B.: Access to the electrical panel is not required for any other operations, except for any
necessary repairs, which must be carried out by a specialist electrician or some other tech-
nician authorized by the manufacturer.
