Maintenance
• Check the end-trimming blade unit several times a day and remove any edge chips which could
hamper unit movements.
• Remove all glue residues from the blades and copy lathe without using steel tools such as screwdri
vers, scrapers, spanners etc.
• Every six months lubricate the ball-bearing runner N g. 1.1b only of the 45° guide A g. 1.1b using
EP 0 grease.
Important:
Lack of maintenance and cleaning of the unit can cause critical operating situations with possible
irreparable damage to parts, including the motor: the excessive build-up of edge chips can cause
braking or blockage of the shaft with consequent motor burn out. In this case, the replaced parts will
not be covered by the warranty.
PROBLEMS POSSIBLE CAUSES REMEDIES
The feed track is moving but
the motor is not running.
• Buttons 3/8 not activated
• Inverter 01 off
• Position the master switch
on ON
• Check the pressure of the
compressed air
• Close/make sure the door is
properly closed
When the feed track moves
the motor runs but the unit
does not perform the cycle
• Button 3 of the control panel
on OFF
• Press the button 3 to set on
ON
The trim is not nished off well • Blades not sharp due to
wear
• Glue residues on blades
• Replace the blades
• Clean the blades
