MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Before starting every new edgebanding cycle:
- remove all edgeband residues from the movement ledge, the guides and the edgeband feed rollers;
- remove any glue residues from the edgeband guides;
- check that the small rubber roller is undamaged and clean;
- to remove dirt and traces of dirt we recommend the use of a silicone-free spray (remove traces of glue
only when the machine has cooled down!).
Problems, causes and remedies
PROBLEMS POSSIBLE CAUSES REMEDIES
Edges are not fed into the machine
Compressed air absent.
Inadequate compressed air hose.
Dirty feed rollers.
Guide F presses too hard against
edge.
Connect compressed air.
Check pressure.
Use hoses with a larger cross-
section.
Clean or replace
Adjust with a play of 0.5 mm
Edge does not cover the panel. Edge guide F is not correctly
adjusted.
Edge must be higher than the pa-
nel Absence of excess at the front
of the panel.
Adjust with a play of 0.5 mm
Change edge.
