Electrical safety devices
The machine is tted with several electrical emergency devices (emergency button on control panel,
emergency button on panel exit end and rear hatch closure). If one or more of these buttons is
pressed, the motors on all operating units are immediately halted, and the compressed air system
is depressurized. The glue heating function continues instead to operate.
An alarm message is shown on the display E, together with resetting instructions (see list of PC
alarms at the end of this manual).
Display of software version and machine serial number
When the machine is turned on, it shows the software version.
Display of parameters (TA, TB, TC, TD, TE)
When the SP1 button is kept pressed down for 7 seconds (D, Fig. 3.1.4), four parameters can be
displayed.
The “+” and “-” buttons (F and B) are used to change page, and the Enter button (A) is used to exit
the page.
– TA: hours remaining before display of the LUB message
– TB: number of times the LUB message has been displayed
– TC: total hours of use of the machine
– TD: total metres of edge used
– TE: partial metres of edge (resettable)
To reset the TE parameter, press the SP1 button (D) for 5 seconds.
Selection of language and Celsius/Fahrenheit temperature units
When the SP2 button is kept pressed down for 7 seconds (C), the page for language selection and
Celsius/Fahrenheit temperature units is accessed.
The “+” and “-” buttons (F and B) are used to move between page. The Enter button (A) is used to
change the parameter values on the current page, and OFF is used to save these settings and to
exit the page.
