Operation
The edge scraping unit makes it possible to remove a thin layer of the edge applied, trimming off the
prole generated by the ush trimmer cutterheads.
When the panel is fed into the machine and reaches the scraping unit, it is copied by the copiers.
The scraping units run and rotate on a pivot. The resistance that these movements offer in contact
with the panel can be adjusted. When nut I is screwed in the thrust increases, and when it is screwed
out it decreases.
The upper scraping unit is xed to the pressure bar, and is therefore regulated automatically accor-
ding to variations in the thickness of the panel.
Depending on the blades and copier adjustments, different scraping proles can be obtained (cur-
ved, with a radius of 2 or 3 mm). After scraping, chip breaker spring H detaches the edge shaving,
necessary to prevent it from being caught up in the brushes.
To exclude the scraper tighten knobs B and lever L.
Adjusting copiers
Vertical copiers G are factory-adjusted.
Lateral copiers F can be adjusted using knobs A, slackening locking screws A1.
Knob C can be used to adjust the position of vertical blade E.
