Starting Combine Operation
1. With the engine running and the throttle lever
at the mid-idle position, engage the separator
(1) and feeder clutch drive (2).
NOTE: The separator will not engage if the
engine speed is below 1000 RPM or above
2000 RPM.
2. Run the engine at mid-idle for 15 to 30
seconds until the separator and feeder drive
are up to speed. Then move the throttle hand
lever to the full throttle position (3).
NOTE: Set the Fan and Rotor speeds at High
Idle.
