Remember to change the single-use protections before positioning each new patient.
Before each X-ray examination, make sure that the patient has taken all metal objects off, such as glasses,
removable prostheses, earrings and other removable metal objects at the level of the head or the neck. If a
radiation protection apron is used, make sure that the patient’s neck is not covered otherwise there would
be an area not exposed to the X-ray.
