5.4.2. PATIENT POSITIONING DESCRIPTION (CRANIOSTAT)
Craniostat components:
1 Anatomic arches
2 Bite
3 Chinrest
The craniostat is equipped, in its upper side, with
anatomic arches that, once the patient is positioned, can
be adjusted and automatically locked by simply pressing
point (A) with your fingers. The arches perform
synchronous movements with each other. To unlock
them, always press area (A).
The craniostat lower area consists of chinrest (3) and bite (2) that can be disassembled as shown in the figure next.
