Magnum Series
BEFORE YOU START
1. Inspect the system before installation. If damage is found, please contact your distributor or CellarCool Customer Service at
1-800-343-9463.
2. Each evaporator unit requires a dedicated 120V, 15-amp circuit. The condensing unit requires a dedicated 220V single-
phase 15-amp circuit. Use a surge protector with the system. Do not use a GFI outlet or breaker.
3. The 18000 condensing unit requires a dedicated 230V, 15-amp, single-phase circuit. Use a surge protector with the unit. Do
not use a GFI (ground fault interrupter) line.
4. The 24000 condensing unit requires a dedicated 230V, 20-amp, single-phase circuit. Use a surge protector with the unit. Do
not use a GFI (ground fault interrupter) line.
5. 18-5 communication cable is required between the evaporator and condensing units.
6. You are REQUIRED to install a drain line to remove condensation from the evaporator unit.
7. The warranty is not active until a warranty checklist has been received, reviewed, and approved.
8. The system is intended for use in properly designed and constructed wine cellars. Hire a professional wine storage
consultant with a valid contractor’s license to build your wine cellar.
9. CellarCool requires that all split systems be installed by a certified HVAC-R technician only. NATE or equivalent is
recommended.
10. It is vital that the units be set apart and oriented so that the supply air from one unit does not recirculate into the return
air of the other unit.
If you encounter a problem with your CellarCool system, please refer to the Troubleshooting Guide. If you have any further
