8. Lubricate the exposed segments of the carriage rods . Be careful not to spill
any lubricant onto the baseplate of the printer.
9. Gently pull the X-carriage all the way to the front.
10. Gently push the printhead carriage all the way to the right.
11. Lubricate the exposed segments of the carriage rods.
12. Gently pull the printhead carriage from side to side a few mes to spread the
lubricant.
13. Gently pull the X-carriage forwards and backwards a few mes to spread the
lubricant.
