8.1 Maintaining your INKREDIBLE 3D
Bioprinter
8.1.1 Cleaning your INKREDIBLE 3D Bioprinter
The INKREDIBLE 3D Bioprinter is coated with a chemical resistant coang It can be
cleaned with chlorine or ethanol in order to sterilize the surface.
8.1.2 Cleaning out moisture from the air compressor
About once a month collected moisture needs to be cleaned out of the air compressor.
To to so simply press the valve on the boom of the condensaon collecon cap.
8.1.3 Lubricang the lead screw and the carriage rods
Aer approximately 50 hours of build me, you should lubricate the lead screw and the
carriage rods. PTFE-based grease should be used to lubricate the lead screw and liquid
IP-lubricaon should be used to lubricate the carriage rods. To lubricate the INKREDIBLE
3D bioprinter, follow these steps:
1. Turn o the printer and disconnect it from the power outlet.
2. Grasp both sides of the back of the printbed and push it gently to the boom
of the INKREDIBLE 3D Bioprinter.
3. Use a clean, lint-free rag or your nger to spread the grease onto the top
secon of the lead screw. Verify you get the grease inside of the threads
themselves.
4. Grasp both sides of the printbed and move it to the top of the INKREDIBLE
(be careful not to get any grease on the printbed).
5. Use a clean, lint-free rag or your nger to spread the grease onto the boom
secon of the lead screw. Verify you get the grease inside of the threads
themselves.
6. Gently push the X-carriage to the back of the printer.
7. Gently push the printhead carriage all the way to the le.
