SPRINTPAK® Restandardization
1. From the main screen,
press the “SPRINTPAK”
key.
2. Press the “Enter” key.
3. Using the arrow keys,
select “Restandardize.”
4. Place a cup and a fi lter
in the turntable. Press
the “Run” key.
5. Wait fi ve (5) minutes
for the instrument to
stir the iTAG 1 solution.
Once the solution is
stirred suffi ciently, the
instrument analyzes the
solution.
6. Note the result and
press the “Accept” key
to store the iTAG solu-
tion data.
7. Repeat steps 2 through
6. The results of the two
restandardization tests
should not vary more
than 0.005.
8. If the values vary more
than 0.005, perform a
third test and compare
Note: Upon initial instrument installation, following each
SprintPak setup and if the instrument sits idle for a period
of 30 days or more, the SPRINTPAK must be restandard-
ized to fl ush all tubing, to ensure that the iTAG solution is
well stirred and that the instrument will maintain its repeat-
abililty of results.

9. Repeat the restandardization test as outlined in
steps 1 through 7. If the values remain more than
0.005, contact the CEM Service Department for
assistance.
