Battery Maintenance Guidelines:
• If the vehicle will not be used for a month or longer, remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry
place with good ventilation�
• A special battery charger (constant low voltage/ampere) is required for charging low maintenance
batteries. Using a conventional battery charger may shorten the battery life.
• Always make sure the cable connections are correct when reinstalling the battery.
RED: ‘+’ positive.
Black: ‘–‘ negative.
Disconnect the RED cable during removal, and reconnect it rst during installation.
• Corroded battery connections can be cleaned with a mixture of soda and water.
WARNING
Do not try to remove the sealing caps of the battery cells, or you will damage the battery.
DANGER
Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Always protect eyes when working near batteries. Keep battery
out of reach of children.
Emergency Measures
EXTERNAL: Flush the aected area with water. INTERNAL: Seek medical treatment immediately.
EYES: Flush eyes with water for 15 minutes and seek medical treatment immediately. Keep batteries away
from sparks, ames, cigarettes or other sources of ignition. Ventilate when charged or used in a closed
space�
