Mechanical Speed Limiter
A mechanical speed limiter keeps the throttle from fully opening,
even when the throttle lever is pushed to maximum travel.
Turning in the screw limits the throttle lever travel, which
reduces the maximum engine power available and decreases
the maximum speed of the ATV.
NOTE
Your ATV is set for maximum throttle opening from the factory.
If the speed limiting screw needs adjustment, it must be
operated by guardians or adults.
CAUTION
Always loosen the locking nut

before each adjustment. Do not turn the adjusting screw out more than
