3.2 Open the cylinder valve fully.
Listen for audible leaks.
Listen for the short sharp chirp from the mechanical low pressure whistle,
indicating that it is functioning.
3.3 Check cylinder pressure is above 250 bar.
For stowage on appliances and to commence operations the pressure in the
cylinder must be 250 bar or more.
4 Start the BA.
4.1 Place the chin into the facemask.
4.2 Place the five-point head harness over the head.
