The locations of the chips are:
backplate;
power module;
control module;
demand valve;
facemask;
cylinder collar;
cylinder ratcheting cylinder valve.
RFID display (sleep mode)
The RFID can be accessed via the control module. For more information on the control
module refer to the relevant topic later in this chapter.
To enter the RFID mode when the BA is in sleep mode, follow these steps.
Step Description Illustration/Result
1 Press and hold either of the green
RESET button for five seconds to
display the battery
power level check
screen.
2 Press the red ALARM button briefly
once this screen displays.
The RFID screen will appear and
display a yellow RFID symbol.
