Putting the control module into sleep mode
This procedure describes how to put the control module into
sleep mode
.
Step Description
1 In fresh air, close the cylinder valve completely.
Release pressure
from the BA by pressing the purge button on the demand
valve.
2 When the pressure falls below 15 bar, press either of the green RESET buttons
twice within one second.
The electronic low pressure warning alarm will
sound until the BA is
depressurised and the control module is put into sleep
mode.
The shutdown sequence will display on the screen and the lights on the
control
module and power module will stop flashing.
The system will be activated by:
opening the cylinder valve; and
pressing and holding the manual ALARM button for four seconds.
When the control module is activated after being in sleep mode, it will perform
the
start-up sequence self-test.
Active mode
When a battery is inserted and a cylinder is attached and opened, the BA will be
in
active mode
, meaning it is in full normal functionality.
Activation
The control module is automatically activated by:
opening the cylinder valve;
inserting a battery; and
depressing the manual alarm button for four seconds.
