3.4 Remove the demand valve and inspect the open port demand valve connection
for damage.
3.5 Inspect the nose cup to ensure the two mushroom inhalation valves are in
place and the nose cup is secured and aligned to the component housing.
3.6 Check that the exhalation valve is in place.
4 Demand valve.
4.1 Ensure debris is not present, especially inside the demand valve, HUD lights,
O-ring and the microphone ports.
4.2 Check the demand valve is completely dry, including the mechanism.
4.3 Check the grey O-ring and seal is not damaged or missing.
4.4 Attach the demand valve back onto the
facemask and ensure the detachment button of
the demand valve is left in PARK position by
depressing the red PARK button.
5 Control module.
5.1 Check the display for cracks and other visible
damage.
5.2 Check the buttons are not damaged or missing.
5.3 Check the hose assembly is securely attached to the control module.
5.4 Check that the needle and gauge face are
clearly visible and that the gauge stem is not
bent.
5.4 Check the rubber housing is intact and correctly fitted.
