MSA G1 Electronic Breathing Apparatus
Step Description Illustration
1.9 Check that the BA tally tag is attached to the left
shoulder spring clip.
2 Battery module.
2.1 Ensure the lumbar support is in the lower
position so the battery is accessible.
2.2 Unlock the battery module with the battery
removal tool.
2.3 Check the battery module for visible damage and ensure the connection seal is
in place and undamaged.
2.4 Refit the battery.
3 Facemask.
3.1 Inspect the visor for cracks, scratches,
deformation and colour change.
3.2 Check the facemask rubber for any damage and that it is secured to the visor.
3.3 Check the HUD is in place and secured.
