If the Char-Broil Grill burner won't light using the ignitor, several issues could be the cause. First, ensure the burner is correctly engaged with the control valve by checking that the valves are positioned inside the burner tubes. Obstructions in the burner can also prevent lighting; inspect the burner tubes for spider webs or other debris. A lack of gas flow is another possibility, so verify that the LP cylinder isn't empty. If these steps don't resolve the issue, there might be a vapor lock at the coupling nut, in which case you should turn off the knobs, disconnect the coupling nut from the LP cylinder, reconnect it, and try again.
