3 2 Storage devices

Activity LED (on the left):
l
Off - No storage device activity
l
On (Amber rapid blinking) - Storage device
activity
l
On (Amber slow blinking) - Storage device idle
n
Power LED (on the right):
l
Off - Storage device power is off
l
On (Green) - Storage device power is on
4 Service tag A slide-out card that identifies the appliance and shows its
serial number and MAC address.
It also contains a QR code that you can scan to onboard the
appliance and view documentation.
5 ESD grounding
point
When you service the appliance, connect an ESD strap to
this point.
6 LOM port LOM (Lights Out Management) port to connect to the LOM
Card.
Note - In 19200 / 29100 / 29200 Base appliances, LOM
Card is optional.
7 RJ45 Console port
and
2 USB 3.2 Gen
1x1 ports
RJ45 port for a serial connection to the appliance.
The USB 3.2 Gen 1x1 ports are backwards compatible to
USB 2.0.
8 2 Synchronization
ports
Ports for cluster synchronization.
Configuration options:
n
Use one of these ports - Sync or Sync2.
n
Create a bond on these two ports (Sync and Sync2)
for sync redundancy.

9 2 Management
ports
Ports to manage the Gaia Operating System on this
appliance.
Configuration options:

Use one of these ports - Mgmt or Mgmt2.
