Onboard External Relay/T-Stat Control
The internal T-Stat allows a heat pump thermostat or other external controller to control switching the
heating, cooling and standby modes (DIN 6 & 7 disabled) of the CX34 via relay. This method of control
generally requires a single-stage standard heat pump thermostat, a installer provided 24 vac transformer and
two relays, (Eg. Tyco K10P-11A15-24, w/ two relay sockets, 27E487). The relays can be located in the chiller
next to the IPM. The transformer can be located in the home near the standard thermostat or other controller.
