Troubleshooting
22.1 GO doesn’t respond to a button press
Place GO on the charger. If no charging lights show immediately, leave it on there for at least half an
hour to see if the blue light around the outer edge of GO will turn on. This would indicate that the
battery in GO had run flat, and it will need to be left on the charger until fully charged.
If GO does not charge, return it to Chiptech with a fault report.
22.2 GO is beeping and not functioning as expected
During normal operation GO runs a variety of flash checks in the background. Some of these tests
occur periodically and others when a software update has occurred. In the unlikely event that a flash
check detects a problem, GO will beep to indicate it may not function as expected. GO functionality
will cease to operate while GO plays a simple periodic beep, and the red LEDs will pulse with the
same sequence.
The following table shows the possible flash errors which can occur, and how often the flash is
checked:
Number of beeps &
red light flashes
Currently set to 12 hours

For example: The system will wake up every 12 hours and check the flash memory. If it is corrupted
then GO will stop running and periodically beep and flash the lights. Night time silent hours will not
apply. It will continue to repeat this sequence until the battery goes flat.
Press and hold one button on either side of GO to silence the beeps. The lights will continue to flash.
Press either button again to start the beeps. If this happens, return GO to Chiptech with a fault
report.
Important Note:
Chiptech recommends that if any GO starts beeping continuously in the field, it should
first be silenced, then sent back to Chiptech for further investigation.
