INSTALLATION RECOMMENDATIONS
Pre-installation recommendations
Leave a space for air return and extraction in an outside wall. If possible, install in a mechanical room, laundry room or garage, protected from the
elements and frost, and where the ambient temperature does not exceed -9°C/+ 35°C. If possible, avoid installing the unit near a bedroom. To reduce
the condensation produced by the unit, it is preferable to install the XENEA in an unheated room. The XENEA must never be installed in a very humid
environment (air humidity level above 50%).
The surface area of the ground or structure must be strong enough to bear the unit's weight.
The surface of the wall against which the rear of the unit will be placed must be completely smooth to ensure a
perfect seal. If necessary, a smooth coating must be applied or a plywood frame fitted to guarantee a smooth surface.
Ensure that the machine's condensate water can be drained from the area, in particular by using the supplied
drainage fitting (see opposite).
Install the necessary electrical supplies and protection in compliance with NF C 15-100.
Location
The XENEA must be affixed to the wall in which a space has been created to allow for the return and extraction of
external air. The XENEA must be perfectly level. The unit has integrated adjustable feet equipped with anti-vibration
mounts.
Space to be left around the heat pump
The front and lateral parts of the unit must be accessible to allow for easy maintenance and servicing operations.
