• WS-X6748-SFP is not supported in the WS-C6503 and CISCO7603 chassis.
• In a 13-slot chassis, WS-X6748-SFP is supported only in slots 9 through 13 and does not power up in other slots.
• On WS-X6748-SFP ports, STP BPDUs are not exempt from Traffic Storm Control suppression. Do not configure Traffic
Storm Control on STP-protected WS-X6748-SFP ports that interconnect network devices.
