STEP 3 SELECT MEMORY
The standard memory features are:
■ DIMMs
— Clock speed: 1866, 1600, or 1333 MHz
— Ranks per DIMM: 1, 2, or 4
— Operational voltage: 1.5 V or 1.35 V
— Registered or unbuffered ECC DDR3 DIMMs (RDIMMs or UDIMMs) or load-reduced
DIMMs (LRDIMMs)
■ Memory is organized with four memory channels per CPU, with up to two DIMMs per channel,
as shown in
Figure 4.
