neutralwithamanualgearbox.
F Inserttheelectronickeyinthereader.
F Pressthebrakepedalforvehicleswithan
automaticgearbox,orfullydeclutchfor
vehicleswithamanualgearbox.
Starting the engine
For Diesel vehicles, in
temperatures below zero the
enginewillnotstartuntilthe
preheaterwarninglamphas
goneoff.
Ifoneofthestartingconditionsisnot
met,aremindermessageappearsin
theinstrumentpanelscreen.Insome
circumstances, it is necessary to
turnthesteeringwheelslightlywhile
pressingthe"START/STOP"button
toassistunlockingofthesteering;
amessagewarnsyouwhenthisis
needed.
F Briefly press the "START/STOP"
button.
Thesteeringcolumnunlocksand
theenginestartsmoreorless
immediately (see the advice for
Dieselversions).
Ifthiswarninglampcomesonafter
pressing"START/STOP",youshould
holdthebrakeorclutchpedaldown
untilthewarninglampgoesoffand
donotpresstheSTART/STOPbutton
again.
