Thebatteryislocatedunderthebonnet.
Foraccesstothe(+)terminal:
F releasethebonnetusingtheinteriorlever,
thentheexteriorsafetycatch,
F raise the bonnet and secure it with its stay,
F lift the plastic cover for access to the (+)
terminal.
Access to the battery
Procedureforstartingtheengineusinganotherbatteryorchargingadischargedbattery.
Protect your eyes and face before
handlingthebattery.
All operations on the battery must be
carried out in a well ventilated area and
awayfromnakedflamesandsources
ofsparks,soastoavoidtheriskof
explosionorfire.
Washyourhandsafterwards.
Versions equipped with Stop & Start are
fitted with a 12 V lead-acid battery of
specifictechnologyandspecification.
Its replacement should be carried out
only by a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop.
Batteries contain harmful substances
suchassulphuricacidandlead.
They must be disposed of in
accordancewithregulationsandmust
not, in any circumstances, be discarded
withhouseholdwaste.
