Special position of the windscreen wipers
To maintain the effectiveness of the
"flat-blade" type of wiper blades, it is
advisableto:
- handle them with care,
- cleanthemregularlyusingsoapy
water,
- avoidusingthemtoretain
cardboard on the windscreen,
- replacethematthefirstsignsof
wear.
This position permits release of the windscreen
wiperblades.
Itisusedforcleaningorreplacementofthe
wiperblades.Itcanalsobeuseful,inwinter,to
detachthewiperbladesfromthewindscreen.
Onswitchingofftheignition:
F anyactiononthewiperstalkintheminute
afterswitchingofftheignitionplacesthe
wiperbladesverticallyonthescreen.
Whenthesystemisnolongerpowered-at
leastoneminuteafterswitchingoffthe
ignition-itispossibletomovethearms
manually.
F Toparkthebladesagain,switchonthe
ignitionandoperatethewiperstalk.
Replacement of the arms must only
be done by a CITROËN dealer or a
qualifiedworkshop.
