Intelligent traction control
system ("Snow motion")
Whenthiswarninglampcomeson,
coupled with the STOPandABSwarning
lamps,accompaniedbyanaudiblesignal
andamessage,itindicatesthatthere
isafaultwiththeelectronicbrakeforce
distribution(EBFD).
Anti-lock braking system (ABS) and electronic brake force
distribution (EBFD)
Thefixedilluminationofthiswarning
lamp indicates that there is a fault
withtheABS.
Dependingonversion,yourvehiclehasa
systemtohelpdrivingonsnow:intelligent
traction control.
This system detects situations of difficult
surfaceadhesionthatcouldmakeitdifficultto
moveofformakeprogressondeepfreshsnow
orcompactedsnow.
In these situations, the intelligent traction
control limits the amount of wheel slip to
providethebesttractionandtrajectorycontrol
foryourvehicle.
Theuseofsnowtyresisstrongly
recommendedonsurfacesofferinglowlevels
ofadhesion.
Whenchangingwheels(tyresand
rims), ensure that these are approved
foryourvehicle.
NormaloperationoftheABSmaymake
itselffeltbyslightvibrationsofthebrake
pedal.
In emergency braking, press very
firmly and maintain this pressure.
You must stop as soon as it is safe to do so.

CITROËNdealeroraqualifiedworkshopas
soonaspossible.
