Fitting the "space-saver"
spare wheel
If your vehicle is fitted with alloy wheels,
whentighteningtheboltsonfitting,it
is normal to notice that the washers
do not come into contact with the
"space-saver"sparewheel.Thewheel
is secured by the conical surface of
eachbolt.
After changing a wheel
To correctly store the punctured wheel
in the boot (not in the location for the
space-saver wheel), first remove the
centralcover.
Whenusingthe"space-saver"type
sparewheel,donotexceed50mph
(80km/h).
Havethetighteningoftheboltsandthe
pressureofthesparewheelchecked
by a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshopwithoutdelay.
Have the punctured wheel repaired
and refitted to the vehicle as soon as
possible.
F Tightenthesecurityboltusingthe
wheelbrace 1 fitted with the security
socket5(dependingonequipment).
F Tightentheotherboltsusingthe
wheelbrace 1only.
F Refitthewheelboltcover(s)(dependingon
equipment).
F Stowthetoolsinthebox.
