  If your Clarke Water Pump isn't priming, check the following: * Ensure the priming chamber is completely filled, leaving no air gap. * Inspect the suction line joints for air leaks due to damage, broken clamps, or ill-fitting gaskets; repair as needed. * Check for blockages in the inlet hose. Clean the strainer and ensure it's not submerged in mud or sediment. Also, make sure there are no kinks in the delivery hose. * Increase the engine speed. * The impeller might be damaged. Dismantle the pump and replace the impeller. * Air may be leaking through a damaged seal. Replace the seal.

  If your Clarke Water Pump has low output, consider these solutions: * Increase the engine speed. * Clean the strainer and ensure it is not submerged in mud or sediment. * Clear any obstructions in the pickup or delivery hose and ensure there are no kinks. * Avoid unnecessary curves, restrictions, or valves in long inlet hoses to reduce frictional losses. * Position the pump as close as possible to the water level. * Dismantle the pump and clean out any congested material inside. * The impeller might be damaged. Dismantle the pump and replace it.

  There are several reasons why your Clarke Water Pump engine might fail to start: * The fuel tank may be empty. Refill the tank as needed. * Fuel may not be reaching the carburetor. Ensure the fuel tap is turned on. * The engine switch might be in the OFF position. Set the engine switch to the ON position. * There might be a lack of spark at the spark plug. Check that the spark plug cable is securely fitted. If there's still no spark, consult your Clarke dealer.
