Safety
• This speaker can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of theappliance in asafe
way and if they understand thehazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Keepthespeaker and its charger lead out of reach of children under theage of 8.
• Thespeaker may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capability, lack of experience or knowledge which could jeopardise their safety,
provided they have been instructed in thesafe use of theproduct and understand
thehazards involved. Neverlet children play with thespeaker.
• Thespeaker should not be taken apart or modified. Nevertry to open thecasing
of thespeaker. Thecasing houses dangerous current-carrying non-insulated
components. Contact with these can lead to fire or electricshock.
• Do not cover thespeaker. Adequate ventilation, with adistance of at least
5cm between thespeaker and surrounding surfaces, are necessary to prevent
thespeaker from overheating.
• Do not place thespeaker where it could fall into water or other liquid.
• Do not place thespeaker in constant sunlight or near naked flames such as wood
stoves, lit candles,etc.
• Never subject thespeaker to high temperatures, damp or dusty environments,
heavy vibrations or impacts.
• Protect your hearing. Listening on high volume for prolonged periods can lead to
permanent hearingloss.
• Thespeaker must only be repaired by qualified service technicians.
Things to consider:
• Other wireless equipment using thesame frequency band can reduce
thetransmissionrange.
• Therange of all wireless equipment depends on thetype of obstacles located
between thetransmitter and thereceiver (e.g. aconcrete wall will interfere with
thesignal more than aplasterboard wall).
